Welcome… to the 15th Annual Parade of Homes brought to you by the members of the Outer Banks Home Builders Association. A select 26 homes, situated from Corolla to Hatteras, presented by 24 of our builder members, are open for an up close and personal look at the latest innovations in building products, practices, design and furnishings. Our builder members, their associates and staff, as well as many vendors and local REALTORS® to assist you with any questions you may have regarding their products.

The homes have been numbered from north to south beginning in Corolla. With the comprehensive map pages located in the center of this book and the brightly colored directional signs installed along the Parade route, you should be easily able to find each home.  Additionally, all Parade homes are identified by large blue, white and black Parade of Homes flags - only homes flying the official Parade of Homes flag and identified by a coordinating numbered sign are part of the Outer Banks Home Builders Association’s annual Parade.

Because the tour is self-guided, you may begin at any of the homes and tour at your own pace from Thursday, October 4 through Sunday, October 7. All Parade homes are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Tickets are available at each home at a cost of $ 10 and are good for all four days of the event.  A portion of the ticket proceeds supports local affordable housing initiatives and the Outer Banks Home Builders Charitable Fund.

When you have completed your tour, be sure to vote for one home in each category to determine the winners of the People’s Choice Awards. Then leave your ticket at the last home you visit to be entered in the grand prize “thank-you” drawing! We hope you enjoy our Parade as well as the more leisurely pace and celebrated weather of autumn on the Outer Banks.
