  • Will I be able to tour the homes this year?
    • The 2022 Parade of Homes will be back to "In Person" and available online as a Virtual Parade.  You can tour the homes beginning October 6th both "In Person" and online at that time.  The Virtual Parade will remain active on our website for at least one year.
  • Does it cost anything to tour the homes and where do I purchase tickets?
    • Tickets are available online by clicking at the link below or you can purchase them at the entrance to any of the homes.  Ticket costs will be $10 this year and you can use a credit card to purshase online.  Only cash will be accepted at the homes for tickets.
  • Will I be able to vote for my favorite houses in the Peoples' Choice Awards?
    • Yes, voting is open only for the dates between October 6th - 8th.  Once voting is closed, the winners will be announced and tagged on the website and FaceBook page.
  • How are the homes categorized?
    • To make the voting and judging process fair, the homes are grouped by the raw cost to build the house only.  This excludes the lot and pool.  Raw costs are not published in the home descriptions, but retail costs to purchase the home or a home similar to are shown.
  • Is there a Parade of Homes Magazine?
    • There will be a printed version of the magazine this year available free of charge at the homes.  There is an online version of the magazine with all of the information for the homes, advertisements for Associate Member companies, and builder contact information.  This virtual magazine will look just like the printed magazines.
  • How can I stay up to date and interact with the Parade of Homes?
    • Follow Outer Banks Home Builders Association on FaceBook for the most current information.  We want to hear from you too, so please "Like" our posts and make comments.  Use the tags: #OBXPOH and #VirtualPOH2022
