In collaboration with Drift Homes Design, the Rundown Café in Kitty Hawk has been renewed as a welcoming coastal dining destination. The building’s interior was updated to improve its appearance, function, and flow while preserving the relaxed character familiar to Outer Banks visitors. Exterior improvements included an expanded oceanfront deck, creating a larger outdoor dining area where guests can enjoy the coastal setting. Durable materials and thoughtful details were incorporated throughout, giving the aging restaurant new life and creating a comfortable, attractive space designed to better serve both guests and staff for years to come.
