Long before Amazon Prime, the Sears Roebuck mail order catalog captivated Americans’ consumer needs.  Contained within its pages, one might find the newest inventions, hardware and, of course, their iconic home packages. For a modest sum, Sears would ship by train a complete home package, complete with windows and doors. Another Point of View takes its cue from these early pioneers. Set amidst the Kitty Hawk beachfront, Another Point of View stands comfortably within the eclectic mix of homes that share its Atlantic views. Black windows punctuate the white tones of the traditional Sears Shake and Lap exterior cladding. Beneath the home, find a shaded respite that seamlessly joins with the pool area for those perfect summer afternoons. Oak floors, custom built white Shaker cabinets, black honed granite counters, black single panel doors with crystal knob hardware contribute to the contemporary adaptation of this quintessential theme. Ascending the formal staircase to the top floor, you will find a delicately scaled volume of space, presenting the main sleeping quarters of the home, with four bedrooms tucked inside the bungalow roofline. Moving eastward, we invite you to explore the hidden sitting porch, and enjoy Another Point of View.

We would like to express our pride in our team of subcontractors who give us their best every day. The constraints of the narrow lot and compressed project schedule posed significant challenges to construction.  Nevertheless, our team delivered a quality product that we could not build without their knowledge and skill. Our homes reflect their continued craftsmanship as much as our own. We thank and recognize these OBHBA member companies: All Star Insulation, Ferguson Enterprises, Green Acres Land Development, Greg White Plumbing, Guy C Lee Building Materials, Home Solutions of Carolina, Interiors By H & W, Johns Brothers Security, Jon Boy’s Construction Service, Kellogg Supply Co., Kitty Hawk Painting, Noland Company, Professional Finish, Saltwater Metals, and Stephen Perlot Electric.
